Capítulo 5 - Enojado
We rejoin Miguel on the raft with his father as well as the family of Fabio, including Gloria, the girl who Miguel has a ¨crush¨ on. They have just left Cuba on the raft and are headed towards Florida.
Capítulo 6 - Llueve
The story continues in chapter 6. Miguel is very angry at his father (possibly with cause? - albeit his father has a defense for his actions which might justify it?). As the title indicates, rain is on the way. Remember ¨llueve¨ is from the verb ¨llover¨, meaning ¨to rain¨.

Miguel and all the others are on their raft and Miguel is not happy at all. He is angry that he had to leave his mother and go with his father and thankfully, Gloria agrees with him and sympathizes with him. Then, off in the distance, they see rain coming. In the next chapter, Miguel gets sick from the waves and vomits which he knows is not romantic and now Gloria will not notice him. Miguel is very hungry and their bread was accidentally bumped into the sea. The others say it is ok because they should get to Florida in two days. They start talking about what they want to do when they get there. Miguel says he wants to play baseball and Gloria says she wants to dance. Miguel musters up the courage to ask her to dance with him and while they dance on the raft, they slip into the water. I predict that either they will get back on the raft and be very cold and tired or that the raft will be pushed further and further away from them by the waves and they will have to survive on their own.

Miguel is on the raft and is very angry because of leaving his mom. They see the storm brewing off in the distance. Because of the storm, Miguel gets sick and throws up because of the big waves and riding them on the raft, and is concerned about Gloria's reaction to his vomiting, since she is his crush after all. Miguel is hungry, but their food fell overboard, thankfully theyre getting near Florida, and not too far away. Later, they have conversations about what Florida will be like. Gloria and Miguel dance but fall into the water because of their unstable raft. For my prediction, I think that either they will find the raft back or they will have to swim with no raft all the way to the Florida shore. (jenna)
